Chris is from beautiful Loveland, CO, but got to Houston about as fast as he could. He received a BA in linguistics from Brigham Young University in 2016 and worked for a bit as a Spanish-speaking medical interpreter at hospital systems in Utah. After that, he decided to go into dental assisting, with the eventual goal of becoming a dentist. He attended Practical Dental Assisting of Utah in 2017 and worked at a small office in Provo, UT. In July 2018 he moved to Houston so he could start prerequisite classes for dental school. Chris joined the Dentistry of the Oaks team in January of 2019, and hasn’t looked back since. He loves being able to help patients feel comfortable in the dentist’s chair and helping someone feel better about their smile and oral health. Working with Dr. Wendt and Dr. Stuchlik is a pleasure, and he would trust either of them with his teeth any day of the week. When he’s not running the back office you’ll find him cycling around town with his 35mm cameras, scuba diving, or trying new recipes while his cat judges over his shoulder.

"Had a really great first experience with Dentistry of the Oaks. Had been with my last dentist for a long time so was nervous to leave, but needed to be closer to home. They made me feel very comfortable and cared for. Definitely recommend if looking for a dentist."
